Post Euro. spec 951 /U.S. spec 951

Will chips that came out 1987 U.S car work with 1987 Euro spec car(UK).
the chips are:-
the DME is by Europroducts
the KLR is by Autothority.
Apparantly they work fine together on the U.S. car.
I was wondering ,as dont the U.S. cars have emission controls etc that would affect the way the chips are set up.
If anybody can reassure/advise me I would be very grateful.

I have '88 951 with europroducts chips (dme & klr).My car is us spec car.We have tested my boxes on a euro spec '88 951.It worked fine and owner of this euro spec car ordered Europroducts chips as well.Europroducts chips comes with wastegate shims.Do you plan to use them ?
My car has at tghe moment:
Euriproduct chips & shims
LBE
K&N
Borla stainless exhaust

Richard - I think the only difference really between US and UK spec was that the US cars had a CAT whereas the early UK cars did not.

UK cars also therefore dont have the oxygen sensor I need for my a/f gauge

As most people seem to discard the Cat, or front silencer in your case, it shouldnt matter...

Thanks guys fot your help. Im getting a Tial wastgate as well- recommende by a porsche engineer in UK- wont mention company name.
Im also after a MAF kit not too expensive.
