I have an 86 951 and need to put stiffer torsion bars in the rear because the car is lowered and has cup wheels and when I open up the engine off the line the rear squats so much it is cutting into my tires and I have rolled the fenders and it still does it-I am pretty sure the factory torsion bars have given up. I have planned on 29mm hollow weltmeisters. I plan on replacing all the bushings, is it worth using the weltmeister bushings or will new stock bushings do the trick? Also I plan on changing the front from my current 200lbs springs to the 300-350 coil over kits from paragon to balance the car, any thoughts on which to go with? I am leaning towards 350#.
