The other day I was driving my '87 951 around town and began to notice some faint white smoke coming up from under the hood. This was during the first 10-15 minutes of driving, after that, no smoke. Then yesterday, I took the car out and saw faint white smoke again. Looking under the hood, it looks like its coming from the headers, but not sure. The car has no leaks, so not sure what this white smoke could be from. But it seems to go away after 10-15 minutes. Any ideas on what's going on. Thanks. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

It is hard to see the rear cam seal, but your symtoms sound like a classic leak in that area. If it leaks, it will ususally drip on the crossover pipe close to where the CO test port is. (close to the header/crossover flanges)
Jack up the car and check the crossover in that area for traces of burnt oil. If so, you found your leak, if not, you are getting oil from somewhere else (like turbo lines, balance shaft seals, leaky PS rack, etc)
