1.25 inch (31.75 mm) spacers on the rear and .25 inch (6.35 mm) spacers on the front. They actually may of been 7mm spacers on the front. I will double check, they were a universal set you can get at an auto parts store. As I said in a previous post, I will need to roll the rear fenders as I noticed the tires did rub slightly when I pulled into the gas station yesterday. You will want to check the offset and widths of your wheels. I thought I would need a larger spacer on the front but I have no rubbing when I turn the steering wheel all the way to both sides and fender clearance doesn't seem to be an issue.

I have the same wheels in storage and thought I'd need bigger than a 1 inch spacer for the rears (I think mine are 27 mm's) but I haven't gotten anything for the fronts, yet. A 1/2 inch is all you need in the front? Interesting!
Painted.

Ah, I just reread your earlier post with the spacer information and it's a .25" (1/4") spacer - looks like I might have them covered since I have a spare set of 7 mm's for my CCW's.

The paint looks great on them but the road grime and rock chips won't be kind to it.

I'm now toying with the idea of powdercoating mine but I'm not sure if an all black will go well with Guards Red.

FWIW, I think white wheels look AMAZING on a red car... I pretty much hate them on anything else, except white... but, if I had a red car, I would pretty much have to do white wheels.

Nice wheels. Red calipers would look quite good with this set up. Also 968 mirrors/handles would be great

is that a ventiller door trim piece?
You mean this? Have a mold for these:

Made also this mold. Took it from 944S air cleaner box

All of these for my 16V 3.0l turbo build up

Those wheels are junk! Just drop them off at my house and I'll dispose of them them for ya.

Here's my rear, lol. Before and after, previouse tires were 225's on phone dials.
Please don't make fun of my historic plates.

It never crossed my mind to paint my calipers red but now you guys got me wanting to do it. I already wanted to touch up the white lettering on them. I will search the forums on the procedure.

Are those 7.5" fronts and 9" rears or 8" fronts and 10" rears?

I have always despised the way those wheels look on 996s, but surprisingly they look AMAZING on a 944. Well done for thinking outside the box. The addition of extra rubber is always a good thing, and it looks like you added quite a lot of contact patch!
