Shifting it right would mean going more toward the center of the car.
In any case depending on amount you can slot the holes and move it up to 10 mm. After that push rod aligment become a problem.
If it is for size you can swap to a smaller sized booster and knock of 2-3 inches quickly. I have used universal dual diaphram 7 inch that a lot of street rodders use, as well as a single off a GEO metro and one off BMW 3 series of about 1990 vintage. All need a little fab but nothing too serious. The BMW was the most direct fit.
