Default Where did you purchase your leather seat covers? Did you like what you received?

Per the previous discussion topic. I'm recovering my leather sport seats.
If you purchased replacement leather sport seat covers that were like the stock ones. If you were happy with what you got .. perhaps you could let me know where you purchased them from and a fair price.... Thanks for any responses.

I can't offer an opinion, but I'm considering the same thing soon so I would like to see opinions too. It seems like Classic 9 is a strong option, and I like their wide variety of other leather panels too because I see myself replacing everything in the interior eventually.

I'm not sure if this really means anything, but I have a friend that purchased a complete carpet set from Classic 9 for his 928, and it's fantastic. It fit perfectly (I helped him put it in), and it's very high quality. So, if the quality of their carpet sets is any indication of the quality of the rest of their products, the seat covers should be fantastic.

I wish they made carpet sets for 944's. Was reading their website last night and the entire upper & lower dash, center console, and seats are covered (pun intended), but no carpets or door panels for us

I bought my sport seat covers from www.leatherseats.com. They turned out very nice. It was kind of a pain in the *** but was OK in the end. If you have heated seats, make sure that you have them install the heaters. I had to figure out how to repurpose my old ones. That sucked.

Classic9 does awesome work, I had them do my dash (upper and lower) in leather, my door panels (including map pockets) in leather and my center console in leather. My only regret is that I didnt have them do my seats!

Matt, I'm pretty sure they'll do carpet sets for the 944's and door panels. If you look through their galleries, there's a ton of stuff they've done before that they don't list for sale on their website. I'm sure they'd do it if you called and asked. I've been planning to, but I'd rather wait until I can put my money where my mouth is.

EDIT: If you look here you'll see a 944 door panel they've done. Bottom-right of the page. I couldn't find any pics of 944 carpet sets, but, again, I'm sure they'd do it.

I went with eBay and the German Vinyl option. Very happy with what I received. Did the work myself, not a treat. Came out okay, so much better than what I had. I also have Sports Seats, so that made it tougher... but price was $350 for both delivered, something like that...

Seats do not get hot or sticky or stick to you, not like cheap vinyl. No wear so far (less than a year).

I used a Ebay vendor for leather upholstery. Leather is not shiney like the OEM but it is very grippy. They're hard to install on sport seats but I'd do it again.

They are outstanding. In leather, it's going to cost you.

Went the same rout with my sport seats. Very happy with the results.
