I didn't change the lights for the looks. I lost almost 30km/h in top speed on an evening top speed run many years ago. Try doing 270km/h with just the fog lights. Scary stuff!

Not to mention you could potentially lose about 20 lbs in the front end ditching the stock lamp motor and hardware.

I've been playing with the idea of painting "eyebrows" with the body color and decided thats the way to go. I'm putting a line about 2" up from the body line and painting from there up. I'll post pics when it gets sprayed, hopefully in about 2 weeks!

wow. more specifically - http://www.v-zweeden.com/fiber4.htm

know if those lamp assemblies behind there hold HIDs? are they d2s bulbs or what? any idea on pricing for those of us in the US? does 290Euro aka approx 300USD include the lamp/assemblies? or just the cover piece? if not where does one get those lamps and how mcuh are they / specs?

what about mounting/brackets etc? i think that's kinda what i'm looking for... i think i'll try and photoshop that style light onto my car (all of this of course, AFTER i have my head back on...)

edit: i think it's 375Euro for the panel, and 290Euro for the lights -- meaning, oh just short of $700usd approx, plus shipping, painting, etc...

Kind-of, not the outline, just an eyebrow and actually cover about 50% of the light cover.

Too bad "photonics" hasn't developed just a bit more, as it is conceiveable that you can have a headlight cover that is body colored in an off-state, and transparent in an on-state. Best of all worlds, but probably by the time its actually do-able, no one will be interested in doing so for our "old" cars.

I have thought about trying to motorize a cover so that the headlight doesn't have to pop up, yet retains its stock appearance when off, but gave up quickly on that idea. My main concern is weight-savings and elimination of things that can break, and that idea ran afoul on both counts.

also that's about what my headlights are going to look like (minus the eyebrows)... any idea where that pic came from / who's car that is?

those PES headlight conversions look similar to what jacquemond.com is offering.kinda on the pricy side so i would yake my chances with gt-racings conversion or maybe IFC's conversion.

TIFO!you car is damn SWEET!!!after looking at that picture,im gonna do a headlight conversion.
