"I can't but help to laugh a little when I look at dyno charts of cars producing HP in the 100rwhp range. I think to myself "why bother"... Our modded cars are probably blowing off that much energy through the BOV. heh"
That reminds me about the time 3-years ago when Erick and I went to a dyno-day put on by some Honda Club in L.A. There were all sorts of riced out turbo Hondas and Integras. Preludes with 2.0L engines were getting around 110-125rwhp. One guy with a really tricked out Civic layed down an impressive 89rwhp !!! heh, heh....
Then Erick and I get up there and we end up having to back into the garage onto the dyno (only RWD cars there). And that dumped all the exhaust and noise into the shop, WOW was that loud! Probably really scared those Honda boys hearing a real open exhaust and all. So we both end up laying down well over 200rwhp and doubling all of their pulls! HAH!!!

Hey! Remember there are som of us NA-people on this forum. We are very happy with 100something rwhp. Well, at least as long as we can't afford a 951

When I dynoed my car last it was at a VW club dyno day. There were some nicely lightly modded cars there. I think the best pull was by a chipped 1.8T Jetta with a nice exhaust - 185 fwhp I think. I ended up going last. I get on it and the open exhaust, the shreiking open turbo intake and then the giant - PWHOOSSSHH when I let off combined to silence everyone in the shop. Talk about freaked out! The 300rwhp helped to top it out.
