Thumbs up What mods next?

Getting my car out of the shop, new headgasket <img src="graemlins/a_smil17.gif" border="0" alt="[blabla]" /> ... Im thinking about a hard-pipe kit with a BOV. Is the BOV worth the extra 300? Or am i better spending the $625 for the hard pipe and kit on an ARC2 sensor for my fuel mixture?

A large BOV isn't very useful unless you run BIG boost (or so I am told) As long as you plumb the unit back into the j pipe, the oe's are decent. Not much gain to be had there. And intercooler pipes are the same deal unless you have a larger turbo.

I would recommend a cam shaft upgrade!

With a camshaft upgrade you'll need to increase fuel, either with the ARC2, chips, stand-alone, something else or the DME switch for not-so-radical cams...

What mods do you have now? What's the goal you're working to?

HTH!

Thank you very much for your help guys. I currently have a 3" exhaust....chips (autothority i think, havent pulled them out to check), an Adj F/R, and a "boost controller". It doesnt really control much. Its a T-handle located near the fuel rail. Turn it a little to the left, and i only get 5-6psi. Turn it to the right, and i hit damn near 17psi ( Ive seen 19psi...and it "stumbled"....i think it was detonation since we only have crappy 91 octane here). The current setup is 240hp to the wheels with 293lb-ft of torque. However, my A/F curve goes nutz when on boost (dyno showed well below 10.0....off the charts.) Thats why i think they have an autothority chip. My goal is to basically get around 280rwhp. I just want it to be safer on boost...with more controllibility. How can i change the MBC i have to one in the car? Any other suggestions?
