Post Fire Sale: 951 parts come and get them

Ok guys we are making process in the 951 salvaging. First off it is a rather sad process and I feel like I'm loosing a family member. But on the plus side to all of you out there that need some parts there are a lot of good parts left over.
If you want the parts, well come up to NC this weekend. I am going to load up the parts that I am willing to sell and bring them over to the auto-x this weekend. I don't really want to ship these things all over the country, so I'm giving first dibs to people that want to pick them up. Here is the list of what is off the car so far.

Rear valance (very good shape)
Rear Bumper
Rear Bumper Shocks
Tail Lamps (Not going to sell these cheap because I'll use them on my next car)
Rear Brakes (calipers so far, but I can pull the rest)
Front Brakes (I have a set of 88 Turbo brakes that were not in the fire)
Driver side A-Arm, hub, spindle
Leda Shocks: 3 of 4 are still good, 4th may need to be replaced, and def needs a rebuild
Sun roof pannel
Roll Bar
Wheels and Tire (993 Cups, 3 of the 4 good, 4th is gone)
M030 Rear sway, front is toast
Fuse Box and all fuses

Comming of the car today
Transmission
Exhaust (Headers back)
Intake manifold
Turbo
Steering rack

And on thursday
We will tackle the engine
If the head is warped, I am keeping it as a memento of my car (and I bet it is warped).

Would anyone want the rear suspension? or Gas tank?

Ok, I'm sure I forgot a few things there are a ton of pieces in the car.

Also if anyone wants the frame of the car, the rear clip is still good and that is free to anyone who wants to haul it away.

I'll look in the DME and KLR, but the boxes got beat up fairly bad in the fire.

Fuel line is our best guess, it went so fast and so hot that it what it has to be.

Ian,

I'd be interested in the rear diff if it's limited, and an item you're looking to sell.

Looks like your car's gonna live on everywhere on the rennlist.

No it is not a limited, and I'm not going to part the transmission out, if I don't get a good amount for it I'll keep it for a rainy day when I break another one (because I am getting another 944 of some sort).

Question

What's a "good amount?" I've got a fried transaxle (second one) and I need a replacement.

I'm not going to rip anyone off, I just am not going to let it go for nothing because it is worth more to save it than just giving it away.

Toss me an offer.

How much are you asking for the turbo?

Hope you find a new 951

Sorry about your loss. I also had an engine fire from a cracked fuel rail on my first 944. Rebuilt the thing and learned a lot about these cars. Anyway, if you do become interested in sending stuff I'd be interested in the drivers side control arm if it has relatively low miles. Also what kind of exhaust do you have/condition. I could also use a few guages if you want to part with the instrument console. Thanks, Mike

To respond to all the request

I don't really know what the turbo is worth, but I was planning on keeping it as a core, but if you really need it shoot me an offer.

The control arm had 100,000 miles on it, the gauges look like they are toast, but I'll check again, and the exhaust is good from the headers back, the cat back exhaust part is going to dave miller for all the help he has given me, but everything else is up for grabs.

No the fog lights did not survive, big front end fire, come on now. And front brake rotors? Well I have them, but they will go to someone who is buying the front calipers as well.

If you are willing to split up the exaust manifolds, I need the # 2 and 3. How much would you want for just the # 2 and 3. Thanks

I don't really want to split it up, Things going in larger chunks is just easier on me.
