If you shaved a few lbs off I bet it would be a pretty legit ride.
The 370s look a little better, especially if they have that throwback whaletail from the Datsun days.

I testdrove a 350Z and thought it drove nice, had nice torque down low, but was kind of boring and flat up high in the RPMs. The interior killed it for me, my Corvette's interior both looks better and I would bet is higher quality than what's in that Nissan, figure that one out.

I have always liked the look of the Infiniti version. And my earlier comment was just a joke I know little of the quality or pricing of the Nissan other than that I dislike them, and that forum post haha.

Like I said, I test-drove several. unless they were the 'track' version, they were all dogs. Soft, floppy and weak.

I'll bet your friend may have the 'track' version, which came with Brembos, and rather different handling characteristics... But the basic 350 simply doesn't compare. It's built for girls named Britney, who have cellphones welded to the side of their head and a permanent vapid expression.

I used to have a 2003 350Z track edition... overall it was a good car, had the Brembos, Volk TE37's etc. Probably a bit faster then a stock 951, probably brakes a bit better, handles a bit better etc... Of course it is 15 years newer so it should...

Now let that dude roll across a modified 951 and I bet he wouldn't be telling anyone about it I've got a kill story then too...

I actually came across a Yamaha R6 who wanted to play on my way home the other day doing about 60~ I heard him downshift and thats about it, I hit 3rd, then 4th then once I hit the brakes it took him a second to come by me... Now was he in it to win it or in the right gear for that matter? I dunno but I won and that is all that matters. WERD.

BUT, a stock 951 would still give it a run for it's money. And I doubt and n/a owner would try to race him. Something doesn't add up here, but nobodies surprised haha
