Wink Intake hose availability

I am in the process of a turbo rebuild and am trying to gather parts I am going to need.I am looking for most of the hoses under the intake and that attach to the intake. Most of them are so hard and brittle that I am not about to put them back on.My question is does anybody know where you can get these hoses other than a dealer?
Thanks,

I recommend calling up Jason @ Paragon Products for those parts (800)-200-9366. You can download a diagram with those hoses and parts# here:

And a price list I have with some common pricing:

Jdog -

You can replace pretty much all the lines with good thick walled silicone. <a href="http://www.hosetechniques.com" target="_blank">www.hosetechniques.com</a> T's and Y's can be found at your local parts stores. Brass is the way to go, but hard to locate.

If you wanted stock stuff, you can get a kit at <a href="http://www.944online.com" target="_blank">http://www.944online.com</a>.

I have family in Steven's Point... small world ain't it! Never spent enough time up there to check out the town.

You can get solid brass T's in walmart in the fish tank section. They arent cheap looking squared off either, look kinda nice.

I found those hard vacuum lines locally from ACE autoparts. They were originally ment for airbrake lines for trucks. Fits well and look original.

I'll have visit Wal-Mart for some T's maybe...
Thanks

I'm not so sure you want to use hard plastic airbrake lines. They are fairly stiff and sort of large which may make for routing problems.

And with the larger ID/volume I wonder if various response times get messed up. Anyone know?

Actually there were quite good selection of different sizes. I used smallest size for boostgauge and water injection pressure sensor. This is about half the size of original vacuumlines.
They feel about same stiffness and wall thickness as originals and I would assume the material used is the same. I am sure they get brittle with time too...

These come in a variety of sizes. The 3.5mm ones with 2.0mm ID replaces the stock hard vacuum lines perfectly. You usually have to specify some arcane imperial sizing like 7/64th or something like that.

Can someone tell me the sizes and lengths that I would need if I went with silicon hoses (minus CV hoses). There are a bunch of kits listed at hosetechniques, but none for the 951. How do these hoses compare to OEM stuff? Are there any problems with kinking in those contorted hoses?

Thanks,

Justin

I've ordered most of the hoses in Danno's PET diagram from Sunset Porsche and have listed their prices below.

For those of you that want to reduce the number of hoses under the intake manifold, these are two updated hoses which replace many of those hoses:

951-110-223-01 is $25.48

951-110-223-01 goes straight from the connector behind the oil-fill cap in the following picture to the intake manifold barb:
<img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/BrakeHose.JPG" alt=" - " />

951-110-221-00 is $13.64

951-110-221-00 goes from the Idle Stabilizer to the intercooler pipe. It replaces all the hoses exiting the right of the Idle Stabilizer in the following picture:
<img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/IAV.JPG" alt=" - " />

The following is a price list for the rest of the hoses in Danno's PET diagram. Keep in mind that the above two hoses replace some of the following hoses (refer to the hoses exiting the left of the Idle Stabilizer in Danno's PET diagram):

#951-123-331-02 18.20
#999.181.152.50 11.39
#951.110.511.00 7.95
#951.110.265.00 5.29
#951.110.213.00 26.58
#951.110.371.01 10.70
#951.110.217.01 6.61
#951.110.211.01 8.88
#951.110.215.03 16.42
#951.110.219.01 12.44
#931.110.183.01 7.04
#944-110-241-02 Restrictor
#067-133-753A Venturi Tube

I don't have my invoice in front of me, but the last two items came out to be less than $10, IIRC. Please keep in mind that Porsche has changed their prices, so this list may not be exact.
