I've held back long enough. I just cannot sit back and see this guy just take cheap shots at anyone other than Huntley.

rcldesign, or should I call you by your real name, Mr. Chris Williams, I have had enough of you, and I'm sure the same goes for those who are trying to develop/create better parts for us. These people are trying to give us parts etc. Why are you so against anything they are trying to do. Development is a very unsuccessful business. Most of it is failures. Its the good ones who continue and do have limited success who we should be appreciative of. You are so negitive against anyone who steps up here and offers us something new. Questioning the results and the gains is valid, and should be done. But you attack and find absolutely nothing positive in what they are offering and your posts show this. Yes, there have been issues with some of the new parts offered and discussed on this board, but with all new parts, especially electronics, there is always issues. If you had any amount of experience in this business other than trashing peoples efforts, you would understand. But no, you always seem to find a way to spin the efforts of these good peoples efforts into your own little fictional movie script. We should all be grateful to all of the businesses who are offering us product. We have the choice to pick what we want to buy. My advice to you is to pull your head down, wait and be more positive about things. You are the butt of many jokes, and many of us are just plain sick of your negitive opinions.

Danno that is a great torque curve, when the kit is complete what boost do you expect to run it at. keep up the good work and just let your product do the talking for you.

Uh oh... someone knows my name...

I can see this turning in to another pointless argument, but I would just like to point out that not all of my comments are negative against all vendors except Huntley. I give credit where it is due... For example, I have products from SFR, KLA industries, and others, and I have provided my (good) opinions of their products.

Enjoy having me be the butt of many jokes... I could really care less.

And stop assuming I'm a Huntley employee! I'm not! I swear!

"that is a great torque curve, when the kit is complete what boost do you expect to run it at. "

Why thank you John <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" /> ! The design target is 20psi and goes straight through the sweet spot on the compressor-map. The boost actually built up a little slower than we wanted at 16psi. I suspect that's because we're making the turbo run on the edge of its map. Cranking up the boost will have it spool up much quicker.

Also changed the injector-sizing as well. Originally used 55-lb/hr injectors, but was driving them beyond the 80% duty-cycle limit, so 65-lb/hr ones will be used with this kit.

rcldesign,

"'87 951 - 3.2475L in the making (expected completion: early July, 2003)"

It's early July. Is it done?? How much hp does it make??? The rumor mill says it's a piece of crap.

3.25 L ?????????? Go buy a Chevy big block and slam that in there.

Haha, it was friggin hilarious. Lets just say there was x-ray genitalia involved, and by the looks of it, someone had their mouth full. HAHAHA, you get the idea. Funny as hell.
