Unhappy stiff with warmth !

Help and suggestions please... on my way to work in the am the thro from 2nd to 3rd has a 'catch/notch' as 3rd is engaged, once warmed up this feeling is replaced by 2nd refusing to disengage with out effort or 2nd attempt. If I accelerate hard when warm and then shift 2nd to 3rd it shifts perfectly. ANY SUGGESTIONS TO MY COURSE OF ACTION, APPART FROM CANNING IT EVERYWHERE. Thanks. ( ps '87 944 Turbo.) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Replace your tranny fluid with redline MTL-90. I could really tell a syncro "spool up" time decreace when i did it. It has some kind of friction modifiers in it that are claimed to help out old trannys.
