Post replica wheels

Hi,
I know that one of the best wheels are the Porsche one, but I can't get there from canada for a good price. And I got a VERY good bargain on Mille Miglia. Are those wheel good (not for track use, I'll keep the flat dish for the track) or is there a better replica brand?

Tanks

I've got 17" 993 Cup replica's by MM on my car and have no complaints. The PO purchased them from Tire Rack and they look great on the 951. I use the OEM phone dials for my track tires.

Mine are replicas, they are nice looking but they are heavy as can be....

Also beware they are soft and do bend a bit easily, but if you can get them for a good deal I would say for it. But the fact that you have a late offset car I would look for real porsche wheels, much lighter and stronger...

I see many 17" boxster and 911 take-offs for sale with rubber for $600-1000. I know of people who do this all the time. A new set of MM's go for $800-1000 without rubber. Look on ebay and at dealers and see what you can find before you pull the trigger on a heavier and softer set of MM's.

Tanks,
951Porschiste, the good deal I have found is in Granby, at Pneu Concept. They sold the Mille liglia cup 1 for 1700$CAN a set (with taxe) and 1800CAN for the twist 17".

Jason 952, The money is not a matter, but to pass the boarder whitout paying a 40% or even more is. I don't want to give all my money to the stupid governement. They already take to much!

I check Wheel Enhancement for a set or original C2 turbo, It's resonable, 1500$US (the guy told me there was a shipping damage to the wheels??? does anybody know exactly what it mean?)I sure Wheel Enhancement won't give me the "gift pakage" to cross the boarder for free!!!

thanks for the info. But I'll have to pass for now. It seems I've got major belts work coming up and suspension, and steering , and A/C...and April 30th is coming up very soon (For our american friends April 30th is Income tax deadline in Canada, Up here we work 6 months just to pay our income tax...but this is getting Off Topic)

Yea! but it can be worst, mine got out the 1 april. But I have a belt job, A/C (not shure if I'll do it) ,a ball joint, tires, and maybe a water pump... and for the cherry, I'm gonna miss the Porsche Fest at Tremblant beacause of the 25Th wedding aniversary of the parent in law

By the way, my stering rack was leaking last year, and I put a sealing fluid in it ( I know, I know) but it doesn't leak a drop for the entire winter! So I save a bit for now
