Post t bars/ rear ride hieght questions

i've been really busy at work and trying to get my car done before hershey looked out of the question doing all the wrenching myself, so since the car needed inspection this month i sent it to my shop to have the rest of my goodies installed by them. along w/ a bunch of other stuff i had them throw in my rear coilovers but in haste i didnt put any thaught into matching t bars (or reindexing them) and the car came back w/ noticably higher rear ride hieght (about an inch). i've just spent about an hour reading posts on proper adjustment of ride hieght and t bar selection but im still a bit confused on what exactly i should go w/. my setup will be #400 front and #350 rear coilovers which t bars should i go w/ or could reindexing my (stock non m030) bars do the trick.

ps tonight was my 1st time driving the car since f/r m030 968 sways and the rear coilovers were installed...car corners amazing..cant wait to get the fronts in and get the car a proper alignment and balanced.

thanks guys

I just installed a similar setup. I'm also running 400# springs up front, but in the rear instead of dealing with reindexing the torsion bars, I just removed them. I'm running a 500# spring in the rear. I still drive the car on the street and don't think its too harsh of a ride.

Kevin,
How did you resolve the 1/2" hardware issue for the top shock mount. I'm assuming the Koni's you got from Truechoice were 1/2" i.d. spherical ends. I ended up drilling the chassis mount to 1/2". It was actually pretty easy to do. I'm currently running 350# front and #450 rear, pretty similar to your setup.

i want to stick w/ the t bars at 1st being i have the rear shocks valved for the springs...will just reindexing the bars do the trick? i know replacing the bars requires a good bit of labor to do, does reindexing them require the same?

i figured that much....back to the drawing board

i've read a zillion posts on pros and cons of running/removing t bars... i may end up ditching the bars and running a setup similar to what you two are running...gonna do some more research
