Upgraded to Tial 46mm Wastegate
I've been experiencing some boost creep the last 2 weeks, and it looks like the Deltagate was seizing. A failed repair attempt led to no wastegate saturday morning, with a track day on Monday!
Thank god SoloRacer had a Tial 40mm handy. After a few hours of emergency calls to welders, the unit's installed. There's no muffler on the wastegate exhaust port right now, but it's the best that can be done on a Saturday. It's quite loud when the wastegate opens up! After 20 mins of tuning, the Tial holds boost much more stable than the Deltagate.
Here are the pics of the wastegate installed. Again, thanks SoloRacer, you're a life saver!

Rage: No problem...except that it isn't a 46mm wastegate. It's a 40mm Tial wastegate. I was going to use it on my RX7. At one time I had a 46mm and a 40mm wastegate with plans of putting the 46mm on my RX7 and the 40mm on my 951. With the big turbo on my RX7 I was thinking I would need the extra large gate. But when I found out that the 46mm wastegate had one flange that bolted straight up on the 951 I decided to use it there instead - I had to cut only 1 flange instead of two (I have my wastegate plumbed back into my downpipe). Max - the guy with the big turbo black RX7 you met at the Beyond.ca meet - is using the 40mm wastegate on his car and has no boost creep problems.

Thanks buddy! Stop by the beyond.ca track day on Monday, I'll pay you for the wastegate there. Edited my profile with the proper wastegate size .
So far so good, AVC-R is dialed in nicely now, holds 1.10 kg/cm2 perfectly in every gear. Gotta dump in some 103 octane on monday and run 20psi at the track.
The deltagate didn't have any creep problems until the last 2 weeks. The wastegate lasted 2 years before dying. Very happy with the Tial.

On what side is the Tial 46mm wastegate bolt-on?
Is it the side from the crossover pipe?
I was thinking of getting a 40mm tial because it's a bit cheaper and is plenty for my power goals.(325rwhp)

Edman951: Yes I believe it's the crossover pipe part that the 46mm wastegate is a direct bolt on. It's the part that goes back into the cat bypass that needs to have the flange cut off. There is also a large bracket/hanger that gets cut off in the process. Tim's picture shows the pipe that I speak of - with the Tial flange already welded onto it. The flanges on the 40mm gate are smaller and would have required me to cut and weld both the crossover pipe and the pipe that goes back into the cat bypass.
