I have the Dme out of my car(because it does not start)and I am wondering if there is any tests I can run on it while I have it out of the car?

I assume that the unit was working when you pulled it. I would say that if it was working, then it doesn't need to be tested.

Does anyone know if there is a piece of equipment that tests the ECU? Maybe another product for Danno.

The car doesn't start right now and it was replaced once b4 when the same problem happened.I knoe there are some users out there that have repaired theirs on their own and I am just wondering how to test to see if in fact it is bad
Thanks.

The repairs that I am aware of are to the solder joint on the ECU connector. This is a hard unit to test, it is best to get a working unit and see if it corrects the problem.

One word of caution, if there is a problem with the engine interface; the substitute unit might also fail. It is best to check out the interface signals using the test procedures in the manual before you sub in another unit.
