So this new turbo would have a stock inlet size then? I think there is a market for a higer-performance turbo that can use the stock j-boot, especially in smog states.

I just dont think there is a need for a new KKK, there is nothing wrong with running A k27/29 and 6, 8, or 10 hotsides. And with all the bolt on units like the SFR ones and even ones that are not, there is plenty of choice, whats a new KKK going to offer?

By the way, these KKK units are really one the best turbos out there.
Pushing 400whp on a K27/8 on 20psi with a MAP, exhaust and injectors where what were changed/replaced. So you can see the potential of these KKK units
not to mention reliabilty.
Heck, there is a reason why Porsche used (and still uses) KKK turbos till this date.

Some years ago, Konstantin offered a super-sized KKK in the E-Mail lists and told us they were out of business, IIRC?
