Cold Engine idle problem? Clears up when warm? Look to the DME temperture sensor under intake runner #1 and/or O2 sensor. Both can be troubleshot with a meter and 'Clarksgarage.com' for specs.

A small update, took her in to have the a/c converted / charged and had them test thoseusual suspects for the lean condition and they all came back normal, the mechanics stated it's pretty normal behavior for the mods the P/O had. Since then I was curious as to what those mods were so I took a closer look.

I've found the MAF is an Lindsey racing MAF2 and I opened up the dme box to find an autothority chip. After some searching and reading I see that this chip is not the most renowned and that I should probably check to see if the KLR is upgraded too, I have a hunch it is.

Get rid of the lindsey chips, do an Mtune from Roguetuning.com My car is so fast and no loss of spooling at the higher ends. I put a hybrid turbo with the Mtune. Good luck and enjoy the ride.

Thnx for the reply and advice. However I kinda like the idea of returning to stock. Will returning the MAF to a stock AFM help this issue at all or is it just the way the autothority chips run?
