hey sam sounds like a new headgasket is in order. How much coolant are you loosing a week? i was just curious cause i have the same problem and i want to know how long i have until i have to change the headgasket myself.....especially since i am pushing 16 psi!!

Well I just got all new belts/seals on Wednesday. Went to the 944 fest where my car all of a sudden was missing coolant. Filled up and then noticed I was only boosting to about 10psi. (normally 15psi) Thought it was the electronic boost controller and planned throwing on the MBC and doing a coolant flush when getting back to Evansville. Doesnt seem like thats going to do it...seems I lost boost and coolant. Will find out more this week when I drain some stuff and prob. buy a pressure tester. Funny thing I drove the car about 4-500 miles and she drives perfect except for the boost issue. Doesnt smoke, temp gauge is stable, vac is good...

How much is 0.4 on the stock boost gauge and is it accurate? I still don't have anything better to use... the needle sits tight on the left when the engine is idling
