C-2 Turbo Oil Filter on a 944 Turbo?
My local race prep. shop recently recommended the C2 Turbo oil filter for my '86 951. They said that it has more surface area than the standard 944 Turbo oil filter. As a result, they install it on all 951s that will see some track time.
The C-2 Turbo filter is a "MAHLE OC 75."
Has anyone else used this filter on their 951? Any comments on whether this filter is worth the extra expense (I'm assuming that it's more expensive...I paid $12).

I use the Mobil 1 filter M1-401 suppose to be one of the best from what I have read on some sites on the net but I have to pay $10 for one, Amsoil also has a very good one but I don't have the model number.

Are the Mobil 1 and C2 filters spring loaded like the 951 filters.
I purchased a Fram once and it was not loaded?
