275 tire will it rub?
Is anyone running a similar setup on a 944 turbo with a 18x9.5" rear rim ET47 and a 275/35/18 tire? I'm wondering if there is any rubbing issues?
thanks

I think that it will be too close and will probably rub. I am running 285 on 10" rims with 65 offset.
My car is an 1987

I have a 275 on the rear of mine with a 17" x 10" rim and a 255 up front on a 9" but it's early offset, 23mm - no rubbing.

I ran a 17x9 with a 275 and the same offset and it rubbed. Required some minor rolling of the fender in a ~3" arch. The below pictures show where you will get the rubbing.

You need more offset. 47 is very aggressive and you may rub even with a smaller tire.\
I fit 275's in the front on 17x9 ET55 wheels, just need negative camber! I fit the same in the back as well, street tires are 285's on ET65 wheels.

265/40 on an 18x10 ET47, didn't rub on stock suspension:
I now have a 285/35, but haven't lowered the car all the way down off the jackstands to see if it rubs. I did roll my fenders though. We'll see if I need to do it more when I get it back down and when I put some better suspension on it. The rear of the car is now off jackstands so I'll try and get a better picture.
