Post VDO gage on:need FUEL BOOST wizards help

1986 944 turbo many mods: Well I put the 0-60 psi VDO fuel pressure gage on this week and it shows 38 psi at warm idle w vaccume line on, and 46 psi with it disconnected at idle at the regulator. Im using a fixed 3bar
bosch fuel regulator and wonder if these readings sound correct or not? I
have the dme switch set at 0 or stock setting and im running new stock
size injectors with a larger than stock bosch fuel pump, and the fuel
pressure dampner is new, the car is getting an adjustable regulator put on
this week and i wanted to test the fuel rail pressure with the fixed 3 bar
unit first to see what readings i'd get. So now id like to know if my fuel
pressure readings sound ok, and what boost level in psi is this fuel good
for. Isn't their a simple formula about fuel pressure and boost level psi?
Also what should I put the new adjustable regulator at? It is adjustable
from 2 bar to 4 bar max, i run 18 psi max during normal daily driving(but
i dont hit 18 psi much i just have the boost set to 18 max on the adj.
wastegate) but on the whim of it i may decide to turn the boost to 23 psi
for short runs so:#1 I wonder where do i set the new adj. regulator in
terms of fuel pressure at idle? #3 Do i set it with the vaccume line on
or off the regulator? #3 Am i covered between 18 and 22 psi with one
setting or do i need to adj. the regulator for the higher 22 psi runs? P.S. i'm running a stage 4 huntley maf, free flow exhaust and cat, intercooler pipes, k29#8 turbo which flows aprox. 800 cfm, adj boost and deltagate if this helps in figuring out what fuel i need to stay at 12.5 to 1 at full boost from 18 - say 23 psi

i have the arm1 and arc2 and a new o2 sensor, also i am a little lean at warm idle, on the arm1 it tends to stay to the left or in the red more then in the green or to the right, it dithers but not fast at all, also the throttle body screw on the top has to be turned down into the hole all the way to the stop in order to get any dithering at all and to get a normal idle, if i raise the screw up a bit the arm1 wont move off the red light on the arm1, as far as full throttle runs in order to get into the blue at full throttle the arc 2 must be turned to +5 or 2:30 on mid and +5 or 2:30 on high setting at a minimum or else i stay in the green area on the arm1, so #1 im not getting enough fuel at idle #2 my throttle body air bybass screw is off because i have to set it in all the way down to get the idle under 1000 rpms and the get the arm1 to dither and move off the red lights and #3 at full throttle i got to turn the arc2 to really high fuel increases or else i am not getting to the blue lights, what is going on here? i do know i got proper chips matched for a K-27#8 turbo and i am running a K29-#8 which is a 800 cfm turbo so maybe i just need more fuel at idle and at full throttle and my throttle body air bypass screw is off like i need to reset the base idle? all help is needed

also i have the arc2 set at 11:30 at low setting and if i go lower then that my car dies out and if i go higher the car reves over 1000 rpms so my arc2 settings are Low 11:30 Mid 2:30 High 2:30 Accel 1:30 so i hope with all this info someone can figure out why im so lean(into the red area on the arm1) and what fuel pressure i need for 18-23 psi of boost, and if i need to reset my base idle too <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
