Post clutch install

does any one have any i dea how much it cost to have a clutch installed at a porsche only shop? i will already have the clutch so it would just be the cost of labor.., thanks, dave

Well it usually depends on the shop, but the job pays 19 hours. Around boston labor is around 75 an hour...

I ended up paying around $3k for my clutch job. That's with a Centerforce Dual-Friction clutch kit. Also count on extras like release- and pilot-bearings. Perhaps a clutch-fork or at least its needle-bearings. And they replaced any of the seals they could get to at the back of my engine.

a good shop should only charge you about a grand for this job, they have done many and should have it down to a fine art.
I did my own for the first time on the garage floor in about twenty hours.
