Good Dallas area Mechanic?
All,
Does anyone know of a good trustworthy DFW area mechanic for the 951? I've got some basic stuff like the wastegate shims and chip I need to install as well as some other minor things.

Thanks for the tip. Now the only problem is Euless is like an hour away from Plano. They may be my only choice unless someone knows of someone in north Dallas.

Istook's Eurosports in FW.
Don was a showroom stock 944 racer in the 80s.
(Races an Audi S4 currently)
-makes his own custom exhaust, and etc. for the 951s...
Tell him Keith said hello.

good call on istook....I forgot about him. Nice guy, too. he helped me out at the track once when my car was new (to me). He took me for a ride around TWS in my car that scared the living sh~t out of me at the time....he was VERY fast.

yeah, I used to work for him a couple of years ago - I got a ride with him in his 951 daily driver (with rock hard rear tires) around Motorsports Ranch. It was the only time I've ever had a psychological need to hold on to something (although I tried to do it on the sly) - woowee.
If a wheel fell off, he could still race the car.
