Cool OMG! Check out this torque graph!

Wow! 300NM @ 800rpm and 560NM(!) @ 1700rpm.

Now that's some tire-smoking/stump pulling torque numbers!
And still manages 9.4L/100km with a 4000lbs car(about 30mpg)

Too bad it drops off at 2600rpm...

It'd be impressive if it can actually maintain it at high rpm's .

Pretty much the same as US diesel pickup engines. The GM Duramax diesel does something like 500lbs of torque at 1800rpm.

Diesels are somewhere between 22:1 and 25:1
