Post 951 model car??????

Does anyone know of a 951 model car to exist anywhere. I have checked hobbytown many times, only to find nothing. Does anyone know where to get one from, or have a link to a place that sells them?

Try Ebay. A Testors version comes up very often. There's also another brand. I've got the Testor's and the engine bay detail isn't very good. BTW, I've got the S2 Cab. Testor's also.

Now just to figure out how to spray the 951 Arena Red.

Hasegawa made one too, 1:24 molded in white. They trade on E-bay too, usually around 20 to 30 beans.

Thumbs up

I've put together the Hasegawa kit and it's probably the most detailed 1:24 out there. (Far better than Testor's, which was probably made for younger hobbyists.) The headlights move and the engine detail is good right down to the turbocharger. It even comes with carpet!

Hasegawa also had a racing version. Here's a link to an example: http://gpma.org/ac944.html

I haven't built a model since I was 12, so I can't really comment on the Q.. We'll have to take Redshift's word on it.

I believe that the Hasegawa and Testor's kit's are identical.

No there not, the Hasegawa has carpet and some real rubber hoses, the Testor's does not...I've built them both recently.

951Porschiste: No, that's not my work. I would not have gotten the coolant and windshield washer fluid backwards!!

One thing about the Hasegawa kits; they're based on the Euro 951 so the rear bumper looks different and the side repeaters are absent. I wish they had a Turbo S kit.

Has anyone ever seen a die-cast 1/24 or 1/18 car? Such as thew ones hot wheels or similar to the types the Franklin Mint sells.
