Post plumbing EBC - keep cycling valve?

Hey gys, when I install my EBC, should I eliminate the cycling valve entirely? Or retain it for some sort of safety (redundancy)? I'm leaning toward the latter, but am unsure about the workings of the cycling valve.

Keith,

The cycling valve is essentially a 3 way solenoid valve (that doesn't seal very well). I don't know what kind of EBC you are installing, but my AVC-R uses a 3 way valve to control boost. This gives the same safety feature found in the cycling valve in that when the solenoid is not energized full boost pressure is sent to the wastegate. When I installed my EBC, I mounted the valve right where the cycling valve was mounted. This worked well because it allowed me to tie into all the factory plumbing. I also tied the vent line from the valve into the j-boot. With a factory wastegate, this will pull a slight vacuum on the WG diaphragm when the valve is actuated to help keep the valve closed.
