Rear Valence removal
Is the rear under-body valence held on by any type of glue or adhesive on the sides where it is butted up against the black foam pieces? Or is it simply a remove-the-screws and take it off procedure? Any help is welcome.

There are no black foam peices, that is a painted part of the valance.
Both parts are held to the body via the Allen Head Screws only. Make sure you have a good hold of the larger part when you remove the screws. If it swings down, you will bust off the nuts that are held in the body, and they are not easy to replace.

Sami&Perry,
Thank you. I didn't realize that the black was a painted portion of the valence. I only need to remove the smaller piece to gain access to the portion of the bumper where it meets the rubber "corner piece". I bought the ski rack that was on E-bay last week, and I thought it would look cool at the PVGP car show, w/ a pair of 80-s vintage K2s that I have laying around. Unfortunatley when the rack arrived, it looks as though it was designed for an N/A(no drilling is needed, but you need to "share" mounting points--one area at the top of the hatch which is no problem, but the lower section of the rack bolts to the screw points under the bumper which are near the corner rubber piece.) If removing the valence was going to be a huge PITA, just for one car show, I would just sell the rack. looks like I am keeping it--for now.

Don't forget, there is also the 2 studs on each piece that bolts to the lower rear rocker panel. The nuts for these can be accessed from inside the rear hatch below the deck carpet.
