Question Bumper/panel removal question

I posted on the 944 board but thought maybe my luck would be better over here.

I did some searching but oddly enough couldn't find anything. How hard is it to get the bumper and front panel off? A body shop is willing to give me a $400 discount if we take those off to have them painted.

Thanks,

Alex

Here is a picture of the Bumper. If you remove the nose panel, use the directions from SFR, you can see the four bolts that hold the Impact absorber onto the body. Disconnect the electrical connections, skid guards, etc ...then remove the bolts and the bumper is history.

There are only 4 bolts that hold the bumper to the car and they are located just above the side marker light. It's a PITA to get to them unless you have long arms. I think the bolts are 10mm but I could be wrong. It might be better to remove the side marker lights and use a small ratchet through the opening. For removing the nose cover, there is a good writeup of the procedure on the Lindsey Racing website.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Thank you!

I just dug around the Lindsey web site and could not find anything about it.
