MAF Maps for reference?
Hi,
Just curious if there is anyone with almost similar setup as mine...
i.e. proM MAF tuner with KK chips... etc..
I am confused now and i need to look at some of your fuel maps(*.lio)!

Remember those aren't fuel maps, but adjustments on top of the fuel-maps inside the chips. Depending upon the particular chips you're using, the adjustments will be different for the identical configuration. On some chips, you may not need any adustments at all.

pikey,
are you using Kokeln chips?...
I am curious what other ProM curve would look like. I had mine almost tuned but somehow the curve looks weird.
My lower end (i.e. from 0V to 2V) is tight and Vout is much lower than Vin!
Can you send your *.lio file?

Danno,
I know that with the kK chips it would require a lot of effort to get the perfect fuel map. i'll have to try harder
Some questions:
Mine is eurospec without O2 sensor connected, now that i am using a much richer chip... with the MAF installed... Will the DME switch to idle maps? without the O2, i think it richens the mixture?
Or does the DME remain in open-loop mode, and is monitoring the voltage signals from the ProM Controller?
Thks and Cheers

"with the MAF installed... Will the DME switch to idle maps? "
Yes, this is only determined by the TPS closed-switch.
"without the O2, i think it richens the mixture?"
Not necessarily. The DME will only look up fuel-values straight from the chips rather than using O2-feedback on top of it. With the voltage-response of a MAF compared to the stock AFM, you will tend to look up an area on the chips that will make you run rich at low-RPMs and lean at high-RPMs.
