Drilling CV might make some difference. I used to have Europroducts Chips which came with the instructions how to drill CV. I didn't do that.
I am also changed to Guru Racings chips.

Where's a good place to get a simple, black faced Turbo boost pressure guage and "sending unit" hardware? I'm looking for budget and reasonable quality. Thanks! - Mark

10psi on the LBE will depend on the condition of your WG.

Check out this thread on how LBE-opening pressure relates to actual boost-pressure: <a href="http://forums.rennlist.com/cgi-bin/rennforums/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=15&t=010253" target="_blank">LBE intalled, getting weird readings </a>

Thanks guys for all your help on this matter, its not easy starting modding your 944 turbo when you are starting with little or no experience with turbos but i think i have managed to follow most of the information given, i certainly do not want to blow my car!! i used to have a 1983 10 valve audi quattro turbo but never got involved in any upgrades to that
thanks again
