Unfortunately one of the previous owners installed an aftermarket antenna.

I was going to have it filled but the original paint is so nice that I'm hesitant to go and paint that panel.

Get a delete plug or leave it in. It looks funky, but it would probably look more funky if the fender were repainted or had a hole in it. IMO.

I'm going to leave it till the car needs a respray then fill it and paint the whole car.

The overall condition of the car really makes up for that small blemish.

Then in that case, I wouldn't even consider repainting the entire car. If you can get away with touch up paint, do that. The colors of my cars are basic though; Silberosa is a completely different beast.

No videos of it on the road as of yet. I'm still breaking in the new engine, as it has about 120 miles on it. I don't know how much hp I have yet.

A quality paint shop can match paint very well.

Even if they match it, won't the whole panel have to be painted?

The thing with 944s is that there aren't many panel lines where they can stop painting. It makes repairing the rear quarters a PITA at times.

Thanks for all the feedback guys and congrats on the new purchase. The Fabspeed system really does wake the car up dramatically and just makes it more fun to drive. Let me know if you have any questions and if anyone is interested in an exhaust for it, I will make a nice member deal for you. Enjoy the new exhaust.
thanks,

Absolutely beautiful car, the 88 1/2 silver rose was IMO the most beautiful turbo S ever made...
