Sagging rear end, help!
The rear of my 87 951 seems to sag. It looks good low like that, but the tires do not sit flat. I was changing brake fluid the other day, and noticed the outside of my tread has plenty of siping left, but towards the middle of the car, it is down to steel belts almost. Is there anyway to raise it back up a little, or to shim the wheels back to perpindicular with the road?
Thanks.

Sounds like you are in need of an alignment. When you say towards the middle it is down to the steel belts, this may indicate tire over-inflation. Just in the middle of the tire? What about the inside tread, is it same as outside or worse than middle? Rear ride height can be adjusted to an extent by the swing arms/trailing arms. You loosen the 2 large bolts and then adjust the eccentric in the middle. Also, the rear is aligned via an eccentric by the hub. There is a tool made by Porsche for this.
