Default Heater Valve w/LR Silicone Hoses

Does anyone have close-up pictures of how you fit the heater control valve with Lindsey Racing silicone hoses? I'm pretty sure I've got the right hoses in the right places, but something's not right. The hose coming off the back of the head is a 90° hose, but I think it should be more like a 45° because. With the 90° hose, the heater valve is being jammed into the block at the engine ground bolt, and neither end of the hose looks right - it's being stretched. I'm sure I could make it work, but over time, that contact will damage the valve.

Does anyone have close-up pics of how they did it? Maybe I've got the wrong top hose?

I bought all brand new factory hoses, anD mine was also a 90deg instead of a 45deg. Mine slightly touches the firewall right now because f how I have the hose oriented. I am font to come up with a way to secure it somehow tho!

That looks the same as when I put on my Lindsey silicone set over the winter. I clamped it all down, no issues with leaks.

While I wish it had been a 45, I wanted to put that small task behind me today, so I just made it work. I ended up trimming over 1/4" off the valve end, cut both ends at an angle, and tightened everything up. Was able to get the "edge" of the valve body off the engine ground cable bolt so there's a little less strain on it... I'm sure it'll be fine.

It would be nice if Lindsey made a kit for moving that heater valve to the front.
