Do '87 951's have 180 MPH speedometers?

WOW, it is a small world. I was about to post with the same question, but you got to it first. Let me guess, 87, red on tan, salvage title, but extremely low miles and looks like a good deal??
Yep, I caught that too, first thing I noticed when looking over the pics. Plus the wear and tear on the interior, specifically on the seats, looks to be more than the mileage listed. Other than that, theres some paint damage, scuffing, and a crack, few other things. Because of these I decided to pass.
In case this is somebody's car on here, I'm not bashing just stating some facts.

Rich, yes. I put a 180 on my '86 and it works perfectly ( I have almost pegged it too.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> )
Also, my 87 has the 180 as fitted from the factory. They may have changed it mid/early in the '87 production year. My '88 also has the 180 as fitted from the factory.

so did anyone come across when the actual production line changed to 180s? still seems to be a gray area
