Post real time map switching...

For those of you who have been following my problem with mid throttle hestation...here is what I tried and it worked. I can select ROW maps where it will run open loop and ignore the o2 sensor. I was watching my AFM while its hesitating, ant its still in closed loop on USA maps, as soon as it drops out of closed loop, the hesitation stops. So...I found a nice mini vacuum switch from World Magnetics...The sales people even gave me a free sample. I have the switch set to close when the vacuum drops to 4 in/hg. This then closes the circuit with the 1.8k resistor and selects ROW fuel maps. It works like a champ...I'm running USA maps with the AFM dithering at idle and cruise, as I give moderate accel and vacuum drops to 4in/hg...it switches over to ROW maps. No more hesitation as boost builds.
It might be masking another problem, but I'm really beginning to think that there is a problem with my DME or the factory chips, I just cant find any vac leaks or anything else wrong.
