Default Loose fitting in intake

The metal fitting that the hose in the center of the pic attaches to just pulls out with hardly any effort. Under vacuum it doesn't seem to leak, but I'm worried that under boost, it can just pop out, or leak. Is this a concern, or normal? Thanks!

Sometimes they get loose, the common fix is to JB weld it back into place.

I'm another satisfied JB weld customer on the "permanent intake fitting" mod.
