Well maybe I should take back my apology and others should apologize to me??? Just kidding, but if your wondering wether or not Rennlist approves of private individuals posting their cars for sale (such as myself) read the following...

"Rennlist will also accept non-commercial "for sale" or "wanted" postings to all lists, providing that these postings are not too repetitive. "Repetitive" means posting items for sale more than twice a week or more than four times in one month."

This is copied from the Rennlist charter. Thanks for the fella that posted this link. I guess I'm not such a bad guy afters all.

And for the couple of guys that like to try to boss people around on these boards and try to tell them what to do... why bother? Go wash your car or something and when your done come back and be nice. This board can be used to the benefit of ALL (within reason of course).

Regards...

Tabor,

you are right. and so is he. You can ask however much you want .

8 months ago, I saw a perfect 2nd gen Rx7 convertible on the side of the road for $11,500.......... it's still there of course

About my 50% comment- I wouldn't feel right selling an 86' 944na for that price. I think I would feel like I cheated somebody.

I have NO problem w/ anyone posting for sale ads in this forum. But I would expect they recieved "responses". That is why this is a Forum and "there" is the classified section. They are 2 different things.

As for being "lowballed" when I sell my car........ I'd expect it That's Why It's not for sale

And WATER944T,

I am Not interested in buying that car

But it must be absolutely beautiful if he can get 7,5 for it

Good luck.

Jeremy - and here I thought you just sat down with a beer and counted them by hand.

I have to applaud you on your use of available resources. If I were your supervisor, you'd either get

A: A bonus for being resourcful

or

B: Fired for caring

(notice the smile)

but then again, for the second night in a row, I'm posting drunk. GOD my g/f has to come back home from her trip...

Lukester--

You and I already have go-fast TURBO crack machines. Why would we want to go backwards?

But my reasoning for wanting EVERY Porsche to sell for the maximum possible, is that I will likely move up someday, and I want the market primed for the $14,000 I want for my baby. ( )

Who knows, a couple years from now I might get that much. My car has under 85k on it, and is sweet stock with a clean interior and original paint. With all the mechanicals in order, I think it is easily a $10k car right now. yes, I know, everyone thinks a 951 should be around $6k. Stop thinking that, you bastards.

Waterbuddy,

I wouldn't mind having a 944. 944's are awesome cars, and "I" value them at alot more than 7k$. But unfortunately, it would be next to impossible to sell them for what they are REALLY worth .

no crap! We have so much blood and sweat in our cars (and aftermarket parts) that I can't beleive they could even be compared with a $6k stock 951

I too plan on moving up.....soon. But to be able to afford it, I'm gonna buy a rolling chassis and a 3.3 motor .
