Default Throttle cam replacement?

My throttle cam is breaking and I would like to replace it before it goes completely. Will the throttle response cam attach but just not provide a performance boost or do I just have to find a used one or a throttle body that still has one attached?

Throttle response cam will attach the same as the stock piece it just changes the throttle response there is no increase in power or anything if thats what youre asking. you will have to adjust the throttle cable if you use a response cam but other than that is a direct replacement.

Thanks, I Know it only changes the throttle response. I just needed to know if it could be attached and if there is anything wrong with using it on the turbo. I'll go order one now.

Where the throttle cable connects. I had trouble getting the cable back in and used too much force and broke off part of the cam there. It still holds the cable but I want to replace it before it can't do that any longer.

You installed the throttle response cam in a 944 Turbo?

Nope. I didn't read his name so I didn't realize he had a 951. It is mounted differently on a turbo isn't it? Guess I should have been more careful responding

Never heard of a 'Response' cam for the Turbo, have to Tip-Toe thru 1st and 2nd as it is, GREAT addition to any N/A IMO.
