The adapter blocks make everything fit under an 18" wheel.

Rim spacers would only be needed if your car is an '86 because the 18" rims usually have an ET of 55mm and the '86 offset is 23mm.

You actually can use gt3 brakes on m030 cars. Just swap some regular Turbo spindles up front and poof, no more m030.

Has anyone ever seen this happen? These are my rears that were installed today
Apperently I'm supposed to drive the car like this. The supposed reason they are like this is to be able to run Cayman rotors if I want. But I can't see how a brake pad that is not within the inner and outer lips of the rotor surface can be safe. The pads hang over the outside edge of the rotor and the brakes sound terrible when not applied. Any thoughts? Will post pics

Technically speaking....that looks screwed up. I wouldn't drive it that way.

First, I wouldn't drive it because the entire surface of the pads is not supported by the disc which means that upper portion of the pads will be "bowing" in when the pistons apply pressure to the center of the pad.

Second, did you order the adapters to run Cayman rotors? If so, they are larger in diameter and thickness which would put the caliper and pad in the proper relationship to the rotor. If someone told you that you could use these adapters with stock 951 rear rotors, they were blowing smoke up your dress.
