Boost Control Valve, mounts under the intake, and is visible between the #3 and #4 runners!

It is the stock cycling valve to control boost, located under the intake. I am taking it you were looking for the recirculation valve, near the intake.

That is a diverter valve. The diaphragm is prone to failure. The CV also fails so it's nice to have a spare on hand.

- More Lag
- Less Boost
- boost falls off quicker to lower pressure

The CV usually fails when one or more of the three nipples snap off. Mostly happens when you touch it or look at it wrong, but it can just crack due to age and stress put on it by the hose.
