If you use chips you still use the stock DME and KLR from a 951.
Is the instalation process different when putting the motor in a 968?

"Yes, I am using the 2.5l turbo head and intake man. "
Let us know how you fit the 2.5 Turbo head onto a 3.0L block. And which headgasket you used.
"I am not to sure on the expected HP numbers, but I am really interested in torque numbers. "
Yeah, unless you're doing Bonneville record runs, torque is what really matters on the street anyway...

The reason I asked about turbo charging a 968 motor is because I was wondering what it entails. I have seen some in Excellence and was just curious what it takes to do it. If you don't go with Stand alone EFI then will a 951 DME and KLR work I imagine you would have to rip the entire brain out of your 968

Yeah, you not only want the brains, but the entire wiring harness from the computers to the engine. There's stuff that the 968 doesn't have like the KLR box which controls boost. And the KLR also measures the TPS and the knock-sensor as well.
