Post Dead Fuel Pump

I left the car out in the cold ( 10 degrees ) for the night. I always have the car in the garage. The next morning she fired up, but was running rough, as if it were out of gas. I made it into the garage.

-There's fuel in the tank. I added 2 gallons in case the guage might have broken.
-I cracked the motor over for a good 8 seconds
-The fuel pump fuse is fine
-I cracked the cap to the fuel rail, and I got "drip....drip" I didn't even get any air. I'm assuming my pump is toast. Does anybody have a method of testing?

Thanks for your time.

did you check the relay for the fuel pump? you can bridge it and see if the pump comes on, that's probably a better test than just checking the fuel rail.

PS: i have a used fuel pump for sale if you need one :-)
