The big difference between these two systems besides the price is the ability to programm the TEC with a laptop and some very nice windows based software. It is much easier to tune a map with 3-D software wih graphs, cells, etc.... then with a number punched into an LCD screen. We can tune TEC systems in under two hours on the dyno. The TEC also measures every 6 degrees of engine rotation. Nothing comes close to this, not even Motec. I am pretty biased when it comes to the TEC, though.I think the SDS system is a great entry level system. It lack a few of the features I want so that is why we dont sell it.

Well, the SDS doesn't really have true "anti-lag". Its technique of late ignition and extra fuel sounds like it's going to be real tough on the exhaust valves.
The rally car anti-lag system uses a separate fuel-injector and spark-plug in the exhaust right before the turbo. This saves your exhaust valves, and gives you a normal idle.

a) Kill your Turbo
and
b) Kill your exhaust manifold.
Here is a good link that describes the system:
Toyota 'Big Bang' system
All sounds like big $$ setups to me. Would not expect anyone but a factory race team to make use of the system....
