Post Strut question

My struts are black and I have a 87 951 w/ m474 option. Do I get the strut inserts to replace or do I have to replace the whole strut it self?

I know of Paragon selling some modified struts to fit my car but if I can get away with just replacing them the inserts I'd go that route.

Thanks

You gotta replace the entire strut since it doesn't have a screw-cap on top.

The Paragon hacksaw Konis will work in your car though. These can be used either as inserts for the earlier cars. Or for your car, you can just cut off the cop of your strut-housing. Remove all the guts of the old strut and bolt in your new inserts from the bottom.

You should be able to use the inserts. I added to my '87 about a year ago. Not too much work. Jason @Paragon - 1800-200-9366.
