Windward
I just read an add in my issue of Excellence from Windward Performance. They are advertising New K-27's for $849.00 can this be true? I am also curious about the Auto Authority Mass Flow. Is it worth it? Has anybody ever dealt with Windward are they a quality place?

off of roper mtn road on the right, going away from town, unless he's moved. My friend takes his 968 there and likes Martin, the shop owner and main mech.

No I have never been there. The only people I have dealt with in Greenville. Are the guys over at Protech. They have never steered me in the wrong direction and they seem to do really good work.

Kool,
Typically those K-27's are hybrids. They have a lot of back pressure. They are not an efficient turbo. K-27/8 and most K-27/6's. The K-27 designation is generic, kinda like a Garret T04-B, or T04-E, etc. Everyone changes this or that with them. I'd stay away from the K-27's.

Kool,
That would be Gunther Pithoeffer <sp> at AustroTech you are referring to. He works on Ferraris' and he is my 951 tech. (His main service specialty is BMW though) He used to build engines for Michael Andretti and his Father-in-Law actually won the Indy 500! (believe it was in the 60's, can't remember his name off the top of my head though). Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.
