This transmission is from my car that I am parting. The transmission originally came from a 1990 car that was suppose to have about the same mileage as my car at the time. If the mileage claim was correct, it has ~95k on it now.
This is one of the best mods you can make to a street driven turbo. It makes the car so much quicker around town and helps acceleration and overall drivabilty. For those that don't know, the S2 transmissions are basically turbo transmissions with a 3.875 ring and pinion instead of the 3.375 in the turbos. The S2 transmissions also have the stronger differentials and a taller 5th gear set.
The transmission isn't perfect, the first and second gear sycro's are a little worn. It doesn't like to be forced into first gear quickly and it feels notchy going into second gear for the first few shifts when the temperatures are cold. It's not really that bad at all, it was like that when I got it and it hasn't gotten any worse after many years and miles put on it, but I want to be up front about it. The LSD works good and I had put new seals in it before I put it in my car.
It also has a custom short shift kit that I will include with it.
Asking $1100 plus shipping

Code AOT means S2 trans with LSD.
S2 trans came with the cooler, but only for the Swiss market, codes being ASV (without LSD) and ASW (with LSD). Good luck finding one in the US.
Rob, GLWS. That's a nice short shift lever you have there.
