Exclamation Anyone got a extra tranny cooler or deleted their's? s

Well,
coilovers are cool but they're really close to the transmission cooler. So after "gently" bending a couple of the loops to clear the spring (I tried to reposition the mount but there doesn't seem to be a non-machining way to do that) one of them broke. Has anyone deleted the cooler on their car? How much pressure does the pump create - in otherwords could I use hose and clamps to the inlet and outlets for a temporary fix while I scrounge up an oil cooler?
Thanks.

That coil is damn expensive from Porsche (IIRC, I was quoted near $3k cdn). I'm having one fabricated for about $500cdn right now. I bought a Rothman's Cup Car tranny but it was missing that coil.

I'll let you know once I get it done.

rage2,
I'm going to "short circuit" it for now with a hose and clamps. I'd like to get a real three pass cooler and plumb it with Aeroquip. Does anybody make the appropriate slip-fit to threaded adaptors to do that?
